Day 11 - Scoping things out...

We had quite an eventful morning, with a side lesson on teaching kids how to do the dishes... our breakfasts were quite satisfying in our little suits, and then we were on the bus to go check out the festival!

It was children's day so the grounds were filled with classes of kids of all ages enjoying all the festive booths. The energy was high and we were all very excited about just being there!  We spent a few hours enjoying the grounds ourselves, seeing some of the other competitors and satellite shows that were going on, and all enjoyed the variety of food being sold!  Burgers, wood fired pizzas, fish and chips, BURRITOS, and more!  Everyone had their fair share of good food and some desserts too!

After exploring, we were back on the bus heading to Chester, England for an afternoon of shopping and quick rehearsal before our concert at St Mary's.

We shared the concert with the Chester Brass Band, who were phenomenal!  Being that it was the 4th of July, the band began the concert playing our national anthem!!  What a surprise!  We all stood up with great pride and sang along!

Following their great set, we were on. The kids sang beautifully and the audience was quite impressed, even though most of the audience consisted of our families/fans from back home!  The kids were very satisfied with their performance and so was Bob. A good note (no pun intended) to end on before an early morning of competition. It was off to bed once we got back to the dorms for they needed to be wide eyed and bushy tailed the next morning and on the bus!!!  Looking forward to tomorrow!!
