Days 1 & 2 - Travel to Hannover
What a crazy day! We are happy to announce that we all arrived safely and on time first to Frankfurt and then, after a short layover, to Hannover. Kids were exhausted, but happy to arrive in Deutschland! After a short bus ride, we arrived at ChristusKirche in Hannover to meet the host families. Ensemble will have their first performance at Chirstuskirche with the Hannover Mädchenchor tomorrow evening. After meeting their host families, the groups of ensemble singers left, excited for their first nights with their homestays. Staying with host families is one of the most exceptional and educational experiences offered to PEBCC singers. These young students are lucky enough to stay with local families, learn about their daily lives, and experience local culture firsthand. Now we are all off to a well-deserved night’s sleep.
