Virtual Concert Choir Camp Day Two
Another day of virtual choir camp already gone! As singers arrived this morning, the screen became more and more… colorful! Campers arrived sporting monochromatic outfits and brightly colored wigs in honor of today’s spirit day, you guessed it, Color Day! Once the campers had arrived, Counselor Emily started day two of CC camp off with a soothing yoga practice. Singers were then quickly apparated away into their theory classes until joining back together for vocal warmups led by the wonderful Voice Teacher Audrey.
Rehearsal rotations went by a bit faster than usual today so that the Concert Choristers would have time to meet their long awaited for mentor/menti(s)!! Wow! What an exciting day already!! After spending a virtual moment getting to know their new mentor or menti(s), singers returned to hear pre-lunch announcements which included today’s spirit day winners (Fox in 1st, Deer in 2nd).
The afternoon was filled with lots of voice lessons as well as lots of Mafia, Madlibs, and Encore (naturally).
Tomorrow’s spirit day is… drumroll please…. PJs and Pets!!! SO excited to see what creativity and enthusiasm campers will bring to tomorrow’s spirit. Lots still to look forward to!
