Explore the diverse cultures of the Pacific Rim from China to Hawaiʻi in this musical journey featuring our most advanced ensembles. We’ll hear the world premiere of Reed Criddle’s Quiet Enlightenment, which draws on the composer’s experience as a Fulbright scholar studying Buddhist chant in Taiwan. The experience of an atomic bomb survivor comes alive in Eric Tuan’s Nagasaki. Also featured are works by Tonia Ko and PEBCC student Khoa Sands.
