Dana Anderson
Dana Anderson, voice teacher, has sung professionally with Berkeley Opera, Livermore Opera, and Sacramento Opera, The Pacific Callegium, Volti, and The American Guild of Organists. As an experienced recording studio artist, she has sung on film scores, trailers, radio and television commercials, including projects at Skywalker Sound in Marin, and Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. Dana is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, A.F.T.R.A., and the National Association of Teacher’s of Singing. Her students have performed as soloists and lead roles in music productions with: Berkeley Repertory Theater, Berkeley Playhouse, Oakland Interfaith Gospel Youth Choir, The Oakland School for the Arts, The San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Youth Music Theater Company in El Cerrito, CA. Dana’s students have placed as soloists at the international, national, and local level in competitions including: The Golden Gate Festival Art Song Competition, The Schmidt Vocal Competition, The Bach Millennium Music Program, and The Contra Costa Performing Art Society Vocal Competition. Dana holds undergraduate degrees from U. C. Berkeley and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a Master’s in Music (voice) from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
