Tony Ouyang
Tony Ouyang has been involved with PEBCC since 2019 and is a proud Dad of two singers in the choir: Sophi 2nd year Concert Choir and Chloe Girls Training 3.
Tony was a member of a boys choir growing up in Tucson, Arizona. He fondly recalls the camaraderie singing with the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus and embarking on international and domestic tours to Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, and California. He's a firm believer that a choral experience not only helps develop a child's musicianship, but also provides an ideal foundation into which a child can transition into adulthood via self-discovery, teamwork, and confidence building. Tony's goal is to connect more East Bay children to PEBCC's choral and youth development programs.
In his professional life Tony has led technology-focused marketing and product initiatives for Wells Fargo Internet Services Group and financial technology startups such as Lending Club, Motif Investing, and most recently as Senior Director at MoneyLion. Today, Tony and his wife Fei are Co-Founders of Doppeltree — an all natural self-care and skincare company that helps people look and feel better, every day — available in over fifteen countries, and Doppelganger Goods — supplying reusable coffee accessories for a better planet.
Tony received a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
