Day 6 - Goodbye Ensemble Camp

The salmon campers who stayed overnight woke bright and early for some delicious boxed breakfasts from Farley’s Coffee before striking their tents and leaving with their parents to go home for their last virtual voice lesson and theory class of camp.

The Deer pod arrived at camp for the last time, decked out in their matching blue choir camp constellation t-shirts for their last rehearsals and activities at Chabot. Final friendship bracelets were made, games played, and they even made a recoding of two songs they have worked hard on over the week; Hymn to Freedom and the Rautavaraa Kyrie. Check out their video at the link below!

Then Salmon Pod arrived one final time to rehearse in person, also in their matching camp t-shirts. The is also a video of their performance linked below. We can’t wait to hear how incredible Ensemble will sound when the pods join together if they sound this good apart! It was a wonderful week of music making and friendship, and we are so glad to be able to share a glimpse with you all here.
