Day 3 - Free Day with the Home Stays

Today was a free day away from rehearsals and concerts -- a time for singers and host families to spend as they liked. Many singers went to Legoland to explore the fun that Denmark has created and shared with the world for over 50 years. Thanks to Maddie H. for sharing her photos with us to post in the journal!!

While some were playing at Legoland, others went to the second largest city in Denmark, after Copenhagen-the city of Arhus. Here there is a reconstruction being built of the way that Denmark was over 150 years ago, moving different buildings brick by brick from other cities to Arhus. Near this "old town" was the new town that was filled with chic and delicious restaurants, old medieval streets, and lots of cool Danish shopping! Lucy A. managed to buy some cute new shoes here! Others went to vacation homes or the beach or shopping. Thanks to Toni for sharing her photos of their day.

Tuesday we will be back to work with joint rehearsals, a concert and a bus ride to Viborg. Can't wait for tomorrow!!!
