Day 4 - Wacky Hair and Friendship Bracelets

Today was another great day at camp! Camp New Voices had Wacky Hair and Hat day and Ecco’s spirit day was Cowboys in Space. There were some great outfits in both groups! Check out the photos below.

During rehearsal, Ecco learned the Latin words to “Factus est repente.” At break, campers played more games of Bang and made friendship bracelets. Campers Cat and Ermie even taught Eric how to make friendship bracelets - it’s only taken him 20 choir camps to learn! After break, they worked on their four Estonian lullabies and Campers Owen and Khoa applied what they’ve been learning in their conducting class with Eric and got to lead the choir for a few minutes each.

New Voices rehearsed "Waly Waly” and “Give Me a Kite.” At break, Chabot docent Lisa led them through the foggy redwoods and they had a great time learning about the forest, the Gold Rush, and more!

In the afternoon, Ecco had theory class and voice lessons. They also played more Codenames and chatted about everything from astrology to microwaves to history class! We can’t wait for another day of fun tomorrow.
