Day 5 - Last overnight at Chabot!

Bobcat and Jackrabbit overnight campers woke up this morning to a delicious breakfast from Farley’s Coffee, then broke down their tents and got ready for the day. Jackrabbit went home for virtual camp while Bobcat helped set up their rehearsal space.

Camp Joyful voices arrived at 9am, dressed up for Wacky Hat & Hair Day. Campers rehearsed their songs, played music games with the counselors, and worked on their music theory. Especially popular was Ms. Liz’s table, where campers use jingle bells!

In Concert choir camp, Bobcat sang Sound the trumpet on “Fruits and vegetables” rhythmic symbols; the favorite was pickle! They also sang “Oye” with Spanish words for the first time. Jackrabbit made even more bracelets and jewelry during craft time today, and hiked into the woods for a special rehearsal amongst the redwoods. The spirit day was “Deep Sea Day”
