Day 6 - Goodbye Ecco Camp
Ecco campers woke up to a surprisingly sunny morning at Chabot after their overnight. After a delicious breakfast provided by Farley’s Coffee and taking down their tents, they looked at some new music, including a piece composed by Eric, another by Camper Owen, and the notorious Panda Chant II! Break included friendship bracelets and a game of Post-Quarantine Bingo (a follow-up to last night’s Quarantine Bingo). One last brief rehearsal was followed by the end-of-camp recital - check out the link below for video of the wonderful performances! First, Ecco sang two Estonian lullabies. Then they were treated to three solo performances where Campers Anna, Nika, and Owen sang the songs they’ve been working on in voice lessons. Finally, Ecco came back together to sing “Factus est repente” and say their in-person goodbyes before joining the Zoom meeting in the afternoon. On Zoom, campers had their final theory classes and voice lessons and spent their downtime chatting, hanging out, and enjoying each other’s company.
